Terms and Conditions
Provisional Driver
In order to have a driving lessons you must:
Be aged 17 or older (16 or over if disabled). Hold a valid licence (UK full, provisional or any valid overseas licence).
Before any driving can commence you must provide proof of a valid Driving Licence and National Insurance number .
Once these have been checked and verified by myself via https://www.gov.uk/check-driving-information the lesson will proceed.
Payment
All pre booked lessons must be paid within 48 hours of the booking.
First booking has a non refundable amount of £37.
Details for payment will be given on booking your first driving lesson.
Your funds will be held in a designated bank account which is held by myself.
Discounted Hourly Rate and Refunds
Discounts apply to weekdays ONLY. Weekend and evening lessons are charged at the FULL hourly rate
Refunds for the discounted lesson will be at a NON discounted price.
Client Cancellation/Postponement of up and coming lessons
Individual lesson minimum of 72 hours notice prior to the scheduled lesson unless discussed, otherwise this will result in the client being liable for the full amount of the driving lesson/s.
Intensive courses any cancellation regardless of time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Work/Holiday need a minimum of 5 working days notice prior to the scheduled lesson/s. Failure to do this will result in the client being liable for the full amount of the driving lesson/s.
Weekend lessons will incur a 50% charge.
(*exempt if discussed prior to booking the lesson)
Instructor Cancellation/Postponement
Weather Conditions; If the conditions are deemed unsuitable for safe driving I can at any time postpone lessons for that day, this will not be at any cost to yourself.
Car Failure; If the car is unfit for purpose due to an RTA, break down or tyre puncture, I can at any time postpone the lesson for that day, this will not be at any cost to yourself.
Refund policy
If you decide you no longer wish to have driving lessons and the Terms and Conditions have been met the refund for the remaining hours will be returned within 5 working days.
Bank details for the refund will need to be given at the time of cancellation.
Pre paid lesson not taken within 6 months of the original booking will be lost.
